ABOUT US

I had my very first encounter with photography in 1992 at the age of 18 in a typical photographer’s studio. With determination and hard work, that humble studio became a training ground for me to learn all the technical aspect in photography from putting the proper lighting and appropriate backdrop, to experimenting with different cameras, to developing films, among many others. For 6 years, I can say that I mastered my way to still-shots photography.

In 1998, while searching for a more challenge, I was fortunate to work with one of the pillars in the publishing business-the Atlas Publishing Company. There I was exposed to fashion photography with both Teen Trends and MOD magazines. and this became the biggest turning point in my career.

I began to realize what great photographers before me had said: That people still are most beautiful subject a photographer can have… Taking pictures of fashion models, celebrities(big and small),and even ordinary men and women, capturing their emotion…emotion that are kept unsaid but are transmitting through my photographs…are reason why I made a big shift to my career.

Year 2016 when it dawned on me that I should established my very own studio concentrating on wedding photography. Why weddings? Because weddings are

not only a union between two persons, but it is a reunion of families and old friends. It is a great occasion filled with different emotions. And I believe that being with these people in this once-in-a-lifetime event is what matters most.

In wedding, my principle is very clear and simple; Pay Attention To Details-that menu on the table, the flower girls, mom fixing her hair, the anxiety on the groom’s face, that teary-eyed mom…the list could go on and on. But after the wedding, when I see the excitement and content in the couple’s face while looking at thier photographs, I am sure I have given them a present that no words can describe.

There’s an old saying that goes: Through the eyes you can see a person’s soul…So when I see the couple’s eyes looking at me through my viewfinder, I know I’ve captured not only thier images but thier souls, as well. And that makes me a photographer – a fulfilled one at that.
